The Animal Farm is a great record label in London that releases some stonking music.
Before contacting me the website was using the studio press theme which as lovely as it is did not suit the needs of the label or convey the “feel” of the company.
Instead of building a whole new theme for them I designed a bespoke theme and then bolted it in to the existing functionality of the studio press theme.
The label wanted more control over the front end of the website so I built a comprehensive options panel to control things like their bandcamp players, external feeds and social networking links. Every component in the sidebar is also widgetised to allow the label to quickly and easily change the layout of the site.
The main image before the content is also completely editable so a special banner could be placed there if there is a prominent release or similar.
This project was great fun to work on and was a pleasure working with The Animal Farm. Be sure to head on over and check out the cool music too!
